How to use the checkout editor to customize upsells

Shopify’s new checkout extensibility lets merchants configure app details right within their checkout editor.

To see this in action, go to your checkout editor under Shopify store Settings > Checkout & Accounts > Checkout Editor

1. Click on one of your app extensions

Each app can have five extension points in the checkout. They will all be displayed with the app logo and name. Don’t see any app extensions? Add them by following these steps.

2. Use the sidebar to customize the upsell

This will override the app settings you might have configured before.

3. Click ‘Save’ to launch this in your live checkout
