Product update: Complete the Set

When shoppers add part of a gift set, UpsellPlus offers the full set and swaps out the items they already picked, in the cart, at checkout and after purchase.

TL;DR: If a shopper adds items that belong to a gift set or bundle, UpsellPlus now offers them the full set. The offer shows how much more it costs and how much they save. One click replaces the items they already picked with the set.

Turn part of a set into the whole set

A shopper adds a $14 shampoo and a $15 conditioner. You also sell both in a $37 Hair Ritual Gift Set with a hair mask. Instead of a generic recommendation, they see "You already have 2 of 3 items in this set" and "Complete the set: add 1 item for $8.00 more and save $12.00". One click swaps their two items for the set.

At checkout, too

The same offer works in checkout. If the shopper accepts, the set replaces the items it covers, and the order total updates to match.

After purchase

Shoppers who check out without the set can still get it on the post-purchase page. They accept the set in one click, and UpsellPlus refunds the items it replaces once the order is paid, so they only pay the difference. The offer says this up front, so there are no surprises on their statement.

You choose which sets to offer

Point the offer at your gift-set collection. For each cart, UpsellPlus picks the set that covers the most items already there; if two cover the same number, it picks the one that costs least to complete. You can edit the message, and choose whether to show sets that don't save the shopper anything.
