Which payment methods can be used to trigger the post-purchase page offer?

The post-purchase page is a great way to increase AOV. Shopify guards this page to avoid misleading offers that get charged to the customer’s payment card.

This means that not all payment methods will trigger the post-purchase page. Keep this in mind when testing it for your store!

These payment methods will trigger the page:

• Credit cards (Visa, AMEX, Discover, MasterCard)

These payment methods won’t trigger the page:

• Pay cash on delivery
• Express payment methods (AfterPay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, or Google Pay)
• Buy now, pay later payment methods (Klarna, Affirm)
• Debit cards
• Bank transfers
• Gift cards
